Episode 7 Photos & A Prediction

Favorite to least favorite, as always… presented by antm10wordpress

But before that, an interesting observation brought up by one of our readers and my predictions based on this theory.
1st eliminated – c10 Kimberly / c11 ShaRaun – Both girls whom it was argued were greatly misunderstood by the judges, who had two-dimensional personality edits.
2nd eliminated – c10 Atalya / c11 Nikeysha – Both girls whom, a few episodes later, we’re wondering “who was that again?”  They both are remembered for few things, none of which have anything to do with modeling.  Can we say “filler?”
3rd eliminated – c10 Allison / c11 Brittany – Both girls were “pretty” girls who thought they knew about modeling.
4th eliminated – c10 Amis / c11 Hannah – Both girls were the “newbies” who knew nothing about modeling, but were more in it for the fun experience, which annoyed others in the house
5th eliminated – c10 Marvita / c11 Isis – Both girls were involved in the cycle previous, which caused the judges to have high expectations of them, which they didn’t live up to.
6th eliminated – c10 Aimee / c11 Clark – Both were very feminine girls who had a hard time translating their beauty into photos
7th eliminated – c10 Claire / c11 Lauren Brie – Both were very highly praised for their photos early on and considered forerunners in the competition before they were eliminated.

Following that pattern, here are some predictions about what COULD happen…
8th eliminated (7th place) – c10 Stacey Ann / c11 Samantha – Both are the cute ones with the funny personalities
9th eliminated (6th place) – c10 Lauren / c11 Marjorie? – Both are the awkward and uncomfortable types whose fabulous pictures kept them in the game this long.
10th eliminated (5th place) – c10 Katarzyna / c11 Analeigh – Both are the fan favorites whom the judges don’t particularly seem impressed with.
11th eliminated (4th place) – c10 Dominique / c11 Joslyn – Both are the girl that should NEVER have gotten so far, but for some reason the judges love.
12th eliminated (3rd place) – c10 Fatima / c11 Elina – Both are the exotic beauties with strong features whose personalities tend to rub people the wrong way.
13th eliminated (2nd place) – c10 Anya / c11 McKey – Both are fan favorites who produce fantastic photos throughout the competition, but – frankly – get robbed.
Winner (1st place) – c10 Whitney / c11 Sheena – The girls are the minorities of the cycle (Whit b/c of her size, Sheena b/c of her ethnicity), who had an obstacle to overcome (Whit b/c of her size, Sheena b/c of her “hoochie-ness”), but have a confident, positive demeanor throughout.

So, for this week…

Marjorie – Let me say, I certainly am a fan of the “Hunchback of Notre Dame” look on her.  The awkwardness of the pose coupled with the lovely delicacy of the face makes this shot superb in my eyes.

McKey – Lovely!  Talk about ugly-pretty.  She had by far the toughest emotion to portray, and she looks quite stunning here.

Analeigh – She had one of my least favorite “themes,” but pulled off a really decent pic, with attitude and elegance.  My only complaint is that it’s a bit “actressy,” which may or may not be a good thing, I guess, considering the photo shoot.

Elina – Though pretty, her facial expressions aren’t very convincing to me.

Samantha – Another “pretty, but not convincing.”  I did think the close-up was gorgeous, but I’d have never been able to tell what she was supposed to be portraying.

Joslyn – I think that she’s the girl I’m just going to dislike regardless of what she does.  Her pose looks too posey and her face was boring.  Plus, the other “actress” looks better in the dress.

Sheena – I really wanted to be wowed by her this week… I really did.  But her shot just ended up reminding me of Dominique’s creepy black-and-white classic movie star shot.

Lauren Brie – By far the worst photo this week… I’m a bit suspicious of some kind of sabotage on the part of Tyra, since I find it hard to believe that this particular shot was her best.

  2. I almost agree with you… but I think samantha will stay longer and I think ( hope) that sheena won’t win ( I think Elina or McKey will)

  3. Even though I hate to say it, I think Analeigh’s going to be sent home next. I love the girl, but I’m very nervous about her. And the judges love Samantha far too much to let her go.
    And I don’t think Sheena will win. It’s going to be either (probably not) Marjorie, (hopefully) Elina, or (most likely) McKey.
    .
    This week, I would have let either Lauren Brie or Samantha go. Both had dwindling photos.
    .
    My call-out order: Marjorie, Analeigh, McKey, Elina, Sheena, Joslyn, Lauren Brie OR Samantha.

  4. I don’t really think that Sheena is going to win, yeah she has personality and all and she’s pretty but is she model material, maybe, but she’s not convincing. I see McKey or actually Elina winning the competition. As for the call out photos, I mostly agree where they were called out. Marjorie deserved to be called out first she just made going to the bathroom more difficult that it may seem dress or no dress, and that’s an amazing thing. Analeigh, that girl still gets the second or third best picture for the third straight week, now that’s pretty impressive. McKey she is just wow, nothing more to say. Elina, this part of the shoot looked like the beginning because she had more tears going down throughout the shoot, I think she had a way better shot than that one. I actually like Samantha’s picture. At the beginning I didn’t like on which character she had to portray but when you are blinded by the light what you have to do, and that is to look away. But she does look very convincing. Joslyn, I like her picture but she could have done a lot more in her shots. She’s resting on pretty instead of girl I know you are not wearing the exact same dress as I’m wearing. Sheena, I can pretty much tell why she’s at the bottom two, just that picture was not very good, most of her pictures were alright during the competition, but I think she’s dropping instead of climbing. And Lauren Brie, her shoot was just not very good, she could have had more varieties but she was just stuck. She look amazing in the picture, but that’s just not good enough so I kind of understand why she went home.

  6. I think Joslyn will go home next and is sort of getting the Stacy Ann edit. The judges will probabaly say her personality is fading or is fake. However I think Stacy Ann was way better than Joslyn will ever be.

    also im surprised those spoilers were wrong.. i wonder where those pictures were taken then.. or if it was just a decoy??

    whatevs. okay so im sad lauren brie started to do worse because her original pictures were amazing.. especially the hot air balloon one and the eyes up picture…. amazing. but yeah this week was horrible of her

    okay moving on. i love mckey and marjorie.. one of them should win in my opinion… but i am nervous for marjorie at commercials next week :S

    sam and sheena are doing pretty well but they are just like there.. i cant see either of them winning

    i like analeigh in general but she hasnt done anything amazing in my opinion.. but i like her so im pretyt happy shes getting consistent seconds

    elina im confused with but i like her over all and want to see her last a couple more weeks.

    next week joslyn MUST go home. or else.
    shes not good at all and shouldve been home already

  8. McKey looks older than the other girls. Even more than Joslyn. IMO.

    LB wasn’t the only one who left w/o hugs. She was close to Clark remember? I bet she was kinda sad when she went home.

  9. Hmm this was an odd week. I think your too hard on Joslyn. No she is not the best model but she is funny and ANTM needs one if she wasn’t on here they would have.

    Marj- Scared

    Elina,Mckey- Very strong

    Analeigh- Cute

    Sheena- The positive

    Samm- The odd one

    So then Joslyn is the funny one and it makes it an entertaining show. No she is not the best and prob deserves to go home in the next few weeks but the show is funny with her.

  10. Good catches, but I HEAVILY disagree with Aimee being one to have difficulty translating her beauty into photos. She was one of the most photogenic last cycle, and she got robbed, only to have Claire robbed the week after by Lauren.

    I think either Marjorie, Sheena, McKey, or Elina will win it. Either one is fine with me, but I’m striving for Marjorie the most. She simply cannot take a bad photograph.

    And I like Marjorie’s photo this week, but McKey’s photo is what I consider to be one of the very best this cycle. It’s breathtaking.

  11. I would’ve placed Lauren Brie in the bottom two for her personality, but I feel that her portfolio is much stronger than Sheena’s portfolio. McKey already takes gorgeous photos, I don’t see why she hasn’t been called first yet. Marjorie needs to man up and get a tough skin. Everyone knows that. Not only that but Elina has to start letting go. Sheena needs to photograph better. Samantha is okay for now, but she needs desperately to work on her walk. Analeigh is getting pretty boring. And Joslyn, oh my god. Joslyn is so annoying. Her personality is overshadowing her progress, and thats not good. What happened to the old Joslyn that was getting called earlier?

    Is it me or does everyone feel like Analeigh is always the “girl going home next”? Is it because we just don’t believe she’ll make it far or are the edits so dang deceiving? I love Analeigh. She probably won’t win, but always predicting she’ll be the next one home…it’s just sad to me, since Analeigh is so sweet. I guess we can’t help it though, considering how she really doesn’t “pop” like some of the others.

    Those comparisons with cycle 10 are so uncanny! I doubt Sheena will win though. She is slowly waning in performance in my eyes and she wasn’t that strong to begin with.

  13. I agree with Christine, bring back model faces!

    It is sad that every week, the consensus is that Analeigh will leave us. Some people think that the edit she’s getting means that she’ll be the winner or at least Final 2. I wish I could believe this, but I doubt it.

I was shocked at how many people shared Joslyn’s call-out average, especially that there were two winners and a handful of top threes, but personally, I’m thinking like she’ll end up like Tatiana and Tocarra, both of whom were booted off the next episode. Everyone else seem’s about spot on. :3
