a lot of hype about this girl, (well, Tina, the asian girl anywho). she doesn’t strike me as having buckets of potential or even model talent. this is not a high fashion shot. i’m so sick of Tyra putting in girls for a novelty. they always dissapoint…ugh umm Whitney C10

I don’t see what’s so huge about this girl, or why everyone knows her that much. I’ve checked her portfolio, and she has absolutely not high-fashion value whatsoever. Ciaran, that’s my term too, “novelty girls,” like C10’s win was a “novelty win.” This girl look like she’s older, and of all the group promo shots, hers was the one of the few I disliked, and the one I disliked the most. Her individual shot is nothing special to me. Pretty and pale, and hot body, but nothing fashion-like about it at all to me.

She really reminds me of Kimora Lee Simmons, just a lighter skin tone. I adore her skin, pale but not ghastly pale.
She would not be a fashion model, just her body type already assures that. At least not the fashion industry that is “high fashion”, definately would not see her in major fashion weeks. I think I will find her interesting as a person, but not much else.

Personality wise…does Sheena remind you of Brittany from Cycle 4? They both are too “sexy” and come off as hoochies in their photos, are loud and crazy.

Why do people think that her photos are mediocre, and that her portfolio overall is no better than Lauren Brie’s? It may be a little biased, but I suggest people take a second look. Lauren Brie took three great photos, and three that make you say, “Well, she has nice features, but that photo just…isn’t working.” I think it’s the hype that everyone’s lost (the Asian thing and the “Tina Nguyen” thing), but she’s totally underrated.

Draion, I have to disagree with you. I think she’s too overrated, and that her personality overshadows her performance. Being a model doesn’t have to do with just personality. They should look at their body of work, their progress from week to week, etc., but the majority shouldn’t consist of personality. Sheena just seems to be coasting.

Ed D. (Dorian and Draion are the same people, haha), I absolutely, one-hundred percent, vehemently agree with you in the personality view. I actually cannot stand when the judges pull the personality card, but I’m afraid I still hold my view that she’s underrated, but she was overrated in the beginning due to the lost hype. And now she’s even more disliked since she was kept over Lauren Brie. I mainly judge the girls over their photos, and even if I dislike them, I commend their body of work. In my opinion, if she’s coasting, people have too high an expectation for the girls. There have been some really photogenic and beautiful girls this cycle, and I think Sheena can very easily be included in that. But to each his own, there’s still progress to be made.

At the beginning of the cycle, I actually liked Sheena, but just after each episode I’m not liking her as much as I used to. I don’t know if I can say it’s her voice or personality or that at the beginning she was very overrated but now she has fallen off. But to be quite honest, she really hasn’t been a top five model during this cycle. Her pictures are just pretty but I don’t see nothing more than that. She just doesn’t strike a chord with me. Not being mean or anything but I just can’t see this girl making it far. I see her making it overseas but just like Joslyn, I see them going home early.

She was actually did a great job with her Covergirl commercial, I kind of wasn’t surprised that she did well, and I don’t know why I mean that. But one of her issues from the commercials was pronouncing the word “color” I thought she said something like “calla.” But overall she impressed me a lot from the last episode. But she still need to improve in her photos.

im sorry, but sheena drives me abosolutely crazy. its just some of her mannerisms. but i must say that she is underrated with some of pics and overrated with others. i believe that sheena really is the “perfect antm contestant” because shes not too good and not too bad. and shes at least determined and willing to change.
